KEY ADVOCATE ROLES

It all begins with a key advocate—someone from the church who is passionate about foster care, adoption, or respite. Embrace Family partners closely with this advocate, providing training, resources, and ongoing support to launch a local Embrace Family support group.

To begin engagement at a new church, a committed advocate needs to be identified. Here’s what we look for:

  1. Authentic Experience – Has lived adoption, foster care, or respite

  2. Missional Passion – Motivated by the Gospel to act for vulnerable children

  3. Influential Presence – Trusted by both leadership and congregants

  4. Relational Integrity – Humble, generous, open

  5. Faithful Participation – Involved and dependable in church life

Do you know someone like this—or are you one?
