My husband and I have three teenage boys, two adopted from South Korea and one biological. We’re deep in the busy season of youth sports, family tent camping, and mountain biking, and we each love serving at our church. In my quieter moments, I enjoy running, walking, biking, listening to parenting/adoption books, cooking, and perennial gardening.

What I love most about our group is the raw honesty and open hearts everyone brings. We walk together through the unique joys and challenges of raising children with trauma and special needs, always leaning on the grace of Jesus Christ. When I’m not with the group, you’ll usually find me spending time with my family or cooking something delicious in the kitchen.

My husband and I have three sons adopted from China, one born in 2006 and two non-twins born in 2009. Our two younger boys have special needs, including ataxia, hearing loss, seizures, and dyslexia. When we aren’t doing homeschool, we enjoy spending time as a family at our cabin and walking alongside others in the Embrace community.

I was adopted from South Korea at age three. My husband has two adult children from a previous marriage, that we raised together, and we have one teenager son. In addition to leading with Embrace, I offer trauma-informed parent coaching rooted in faith. As a family, we love playing board games, karaoke, cooking/baking, working-out, and enjoying nature together.

My wife, Pamela, and I were foster parents for six years and had the privilege of being a safe space for seven children during that time. We have four biological children and continue to stay involved in supporting foster and adoptive families. We’re passionate about equipping others to care well for kids from hard places.

My husband Jeff and I have four daughters. Our youngest was adopted from Haiti in 2012. We also have twin biological daughters who are high school seniors, and our oldest is 24. I’m especially passionate about early childhood trauma and walking with families raising kids from hard places; offering honest conversation, faith-based support, and encouragement. I also love cooking, traveling, going to concerts, and being near the ocean.

My husband Ron and I have three daughters, two biological and one adopted from Ukraine at age six and a half. I joined Embrace with the hope of encouraging others on their adoption journey. Adoption can be incredibly rewarding and equally challenging, and I want families to know they’re not alone. Outside of Embrace, I enjoy hiking, gardening, and photography.

My husband and I have two adult children, a biological son and an adopted daughter through domestic infant adoption. I love jogging with my husband, cross-country skiing when there’s snow, and coaching archery. I work a lot, but I always make time to hang out with my kids. My Embrace group has been a vital support during some of the hardest seasons.

In my free time, I enjoy walking and gardening.

I have two adult biological children and also helped raise two girls who experienced significant developmental trauma. They remain an important part of my life. I work as a parent & teacher coach in the U.S. and at a school in Haiti. I’m passionate about helping adults build strong, grace-filled relationships with their children. Outside of work, I love to travel, teach my toddler Sunday school class, and spend time with family and friends.

I was adopted as an infant, and we adopted our son, our only child, through an identified domestic adoption. He was diagnosed with autism and ADHD in high school. Over the years, I’ve also learned from friends who parented children adopted from Russia and navigated attachment challenges. I enjoy reading, quilting, knitting, and scrapbooking.
